Tlik Village: Everyday Struggle for Water

On September 29, at the Martiros Saryan House-Museum, the Media Initiatives Center, jointly with Internews, hosted a journalistic awards ceremony titled “Tvapatum 2017: Stories About Change.” CivilNet journalist Zhanna Poghosyan was awarded the “Special and Encouraging Prize.” Her story, “Tlik Village: Everyday Struggle for Water,” was also awarded a prize in the Best Digital Story category.

Sargis Bulghadaryan, CivilNet’s cameraman and photographer, received an Aurora photo contest prize for his photo from the same story, “Everyday Struggle for Water in Tlik Border Village.”
